Nadiia Vasylivna Trofymenko is a PhD in Economics whose research focuses on land management, geospatial technologies, and remote sensing. She holds a degree in Land Management and Cadastre and previously served as an Assistant at the Department of Geoinformatics, Educational and Scientific Institute "Institute of Geology", Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. She is the author and co-author of approximately 80 scientific publications.

Her research interests include soil science, remote sensing, geographic information systems (GIS), spatial modelling, land management, land cadastre, land resource assessment, digital soil mapping, and land fund optimization.

In her research, she applies modern geospatial analysis, satellite remote sensing, and mathematical modelling to investigate soil resources, map land resources, analyse land-use patterns, and support sustainable land management. She is a co-author of scientific studies on the application of remote sensing technologies for assessing soil properties in the Ukrainian Polissia, as well as research on soil CO₂ emissions, their temperature sensitivity, and the environmental factors controlling carbon dynamics in soils.
