Petro I. Trofymenko is a Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor, and the Founder and Head of the Environmental Soil Systems Research Group (ESSRG).

His research is dedicated to interdisciplinary studies of soil systems, digital agriculture, geospatial technologies, and environmental monitoring. He is the author and co-author of more than 150 scientific publications, including research articles, textbooks, monographs, and patents. His research has been published in journals indexed in the international bibliographic databases Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) and has contributed to advances in agroecology, geoinformatics, and sustainable natural resource management.
